Mark your calendars and don't miss this year's Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Saturday, May 30, 2015, from 6:00 to 9:30 PM at Brenau University's Downtown Center, 301 Main Street SW, Gainesville, GA (30501). The festival is a partnership between UNG's Institute for Environmental & Spatial Analysis, the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper & Brenau University.
The Wild & Scenic® Film Festival inspires people and unites communities to conserve and protect our natural resources.
An Environmental Expo will start at 6 p.m., and then two hours of award winning eco-literacy, eco-justice and scenic adventure films begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 ($5 for Students) and includes a one year Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) membership. All proceeds will support the educational efforts of the Lake Lanier Floating Classroom sponsored by CRK and the Elachee Nature Center.
